Morton Deustch Awards for Social Justice

This Saturday, April 13th, the Deutsch Awards will take place as part of the Teachers College Academic Festival. The awards will b given from 2:00 – 3:15PM.

This year, the Morton Deutsch International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (MD-ICCCR) will be honoring Mariame Kaba as the 2019 Morton Deutsch Outstanding Scholar-Practitioner Award Recipient and Ahram Park as the Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award Recipient.

The session will be from 2:00-3:15 PM and you’re welcome to join for the other TC Academic Festival events including:

• Dr. Hakim Williams receiving his Distinguished Alumni Early Career award during the Celebration Brunch from 10-11:45 AM in the Grade Dodge Dining Hall
• Deutsch awardees being recognized on the main stage of Cowin Auditorium during the Opening Ceremony from 12- 2 PM

Please register in advance so you’ll get a name tag and will be counted for our session’s RSVP’s.   Your registration for the ‘Session Pass Only’ is free as a CU/TC staff member or affiliate.   Room assignment is pending but it will likely be in GDH 177-179 or in Milbank Chapel.
