AC⁴ events serve to promote interdisciplinary understanding, to highlight current initiatives, and to bring a critical perspective to current environmental and social challenges, particularly those in conflict-affected contexts.

Periodically we host forums or presentations to share our current research or give updates about initiatives, such as the forum on Visualizing Sustainable Peace.

Our Perspectives on Peace series provides opportunities for networking and dialogue among students and alumni, as well as with professionals in the conflict resolution field in the greater New York area and beyond.

Every spring, our annual Sustaining Peace Forum happens at Columbia University. This event showcases innovations in complex systems and interdisciplinary approaches to conflict, peace and sustainability, including the AC4-sponsored work of select Columbia graduate student fellows.
