Abstract:
From March to July of this year, Professor Guéhenno served as the Deputy Joint Special Envoy of the United Nations and the League of Arab States on Syria, working with former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan to lead a UN observer mission and seek a negotiated resolution to the conflict. Please join Professor Guéhenno and Professor Salomons as they discuss the current situation in Syria and the role of international intervention in the ongoing civil war.
