About the Course
This course will familiarize students with concepts from decision science and political psychology and will demonstrate how to use the Decision Board software tool to improve negotiation by uncovering the decision rules of rivals in a peace negotiation process while factoring in some of their potential calculations. Applications to peace negotiation and peace marketing will also be discussed.
About the Decision Board Software
- Observe and record indicators of individual choice strategy
- Detect various decision strategies and biases
- Test the effects of multiple situational and personal factors
- Deal with counterfactual data and scenarios
- Analyze sequential and interactive decision problems
About the Instructor
Dr. Alex Mintz is currently Dean and Professor at the Lauder School of Government in Diplomacy and Strategy, IDC-Herzliya, Israel.
