Job Opening: MD-ICCCR is looking for a P/T Education Program Coordinator
The Morton Deutsch International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (MD-ICCCR) at Teachers College is seeking to hire a qualified candidate with a strong interest in growing the center’s innovative Conflict Intelligence program at Columbia University as a part-time position.
This position will coordinate all of the MD-ICCCR educational offerings, including the Graduate Certificate program, internships, core and elective courses. The position will assume a coordination role, in partnership with the Curriculum Development Specialist, for ongoing curriculum reviews and revisions, to offer cutting-edge, scientifically-based course content and current pedagogy. The educational offerings are focused on the dynamics of peace, conflict, social change, and social justice.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: B.A. (preferably in social psychology, education/adult education, sociology, anthropology; conflict resolution concentration desirable).
Experience: Three years of organizational experience (preferably with schools, nonprofits or businesses); management of programs and/or curricula.
Specific Skills: interpersonal communication; curriculum development and management; program management; resource management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate level work in fields noted above; high level of knowledge re: conflict resolution; Program development experience
