The Morton Deutsch International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (MD-ICCCR) is seeking an experienced researcher who is interested in promoting social justice, constructive conflict and world peace.
The MD-ICCCR at Teachers College is seeking to hire a qualified candidate with advanced skills in research management, design, methodology, statistics, and data analysis for a 20-35 hour/week commitment. This paid position will provide support and consulting expertise to students and staff conducting research in the MD-ICCCR lab with Dr. Peter T. Coleman. Research is focused on the dynamics of peace, conflict, social change, and social justice. Ideal candidates would have experience with statistical analyses in both SPSS and R, be able to provide both basic data analysis and interpretation mentorship to students in the lab, and conduct analyses in support of research, including factor analysis, surface analysis, HLM, and multiple regression. This position will offer opportunities for publishing, presenting on research findings and teaching if of interest to the candidate.
