New Publication on Project Ankur, from 2015 Fellowship Receipients
The paper gives an overview of the project, shares excerpts from focus group discussion that was held with home-based sex workers, and also shares a description of the student-researchers’ experience as outsiders entering work with a vulnerable, marginalized population in India.
Final results from the study, developed with analysis on the qualitative data that was collected last August, is still in progress but should also be available soon.
With news of the publication, Ms. Marcus and Ms. Sardana said, “Thank you again (and again and again!) for the support and encouragement you [AC4 staff] provided us over the course of the past year. It has been such a meaningful experience for us, and we’re really proud to share our work with a broader audience.”
