The Department of Political Science within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University invites applications for an anticipated faculty position(s) at the Adjunct Professor (non-tenure track) to begin January 2016. The position is located at the University’s New York City campus in lower Manhattan.

Applicants should have an earned an MA or the equivalent in Political Science or related field. Preference will be given to candidates having graduate training and teaching experience in comparative politics and international relations, and whose interests engage questions linked to conflict analysis and/or social justice issues.

Candidates will be expected to teach one or more of three courses listed below during the Spring 2016 term.  A demonstrated ability of teaching excellence is highly desirable. Course assignments may include one or more introductory, undergraduate-level courses in Comparative Politics and International Relations, and Conflict Analysis.

Courses for the Spring 2016 term are scheduled to be taught during the following days/times:

  • Comparative Politics Introduction, online
  • International Relations, face to face: Tuesday and Thursday 4:35pm-6:00pm
  • Conflict Analysis, face to face, Tuesdays 6:10pm-9:00pm
