Event tonight 4/29: Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

It Won’t Stop Until We Talk

April 29 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Diana Center

This event aims to present the human narratives of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Robi Damelin and Bassam Aramin, representatives of The Parents Circle – Families Forum (PCFF) will present the stories of how they were able to reconcile their differences despite tragedy and loss. PCFF is an organization of over 600 families, all of whom have lost a close family member as a result of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. The organization brings families together to show that reconciliation is possible on an individual and communal level. The PCFF believes that “the process of reconciliation between nations is a prerequisite to achieving a sustainable peace”.

The event will consist of a short screening of clips from Damelin and Aramin’s upcoming documentary, “Two Sided Story,” followed by presentations from the speakers. Students involved in activism on the conflict will lead breakout discussions immediately after the event. Dinner will be provided at the event.
