Intern Opportunity with the Auschwitz Institute

The Auschwitz Institute seeks a highly motivated intern/volunteer for blogging and social media.

Requirements:

• Experience in blogging and social media required; journalism experience a major plus
• Knowledge of conflict prevention policy preferred
• Superior writing and editing skills
• Unparalleled attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Sense of humor a plus

Responsibilities:

• Social networks: Monitor news related to genocide prevention and post relevant items to Auschwitz Institute social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Blog: Monitor genocide prevention news and summarize in 2 blog posts weekly. Monitor policy papers on genocide prevention and summarize in 1 blog post weekly.

NOTE: You must have your own computer. No financial compensation is available, although work-related expenses andtravel, for those who live in New York (unlimited MetroCard), will be reimbursed.
