Applied Research Experience

Looking to build your CV? Need some applied research experience?

Dr. Westaby’s Dynamic Network Lab is looking for talented Masters students with an interest in social networks, social dynamics, or human conflict to work on an exciting and ambitious research project.  Volunteers will have the opportunity to develop an intimate knowledge of dynamic network theory and the mechanics of observational coding with real world data, which has applied implications for coaching, interpersonal consulting, and behavioral change.  Members will also learn about other analytic approaches in social, organizational, and counseling psychology.  If you are interested in any of the above opportunities in the Dynamic Network Lab, please contact Dr. Westaby’s doctoral student, Naomi Woods, nsw2120@columbia.edu, for further information about volunteer and credit opportunities.  Please attach your resume.  Thank you.
