Anti-Science Views Endorsed by President Trump

In a tweet on March 12, 2019, President Trump appeared to endorse erroneous claims, aired on the “Fox and Friends” television program, that climate change is “[f]ake [s]cience” and that increasing carbon dioxide emissions will benefit society. The President wrote:

“Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace: ‘The whole climate crisis is not only Fake News, it’s Fake Science. There is no climate crisis, there’s weather and climate all around the world, and in fact carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life.’ @foxandfriends Wow!”

Greenpeace responded to the tweet by saying: “Patrick Moore was not a co-founder of Greenpeace.” Others emphasized that Mr. Moore’s statement does not reflect the prevailing scientific consensus that carbon dioxide emissions contribute to climate change which poses a serious threat to society.

How does that lier, Patrick Moore, have the nerve to write that he is co-founder of Greenpeace to backup his claim that climate change is fake. How does “climate all around the world” prove his claim. It certainly proves he is not intelligent or close to it (similar to Trump).
