Names of USDA Staff Working on Climate Change Requested

The sole member of the Trump transition team at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) , Brian Klippenstein, requested the names of staff members working on climate change.

USDA staffers claimed Klippenstein was interested solely in the office on climate change. According to one staffer, Klippenstein “wanted to know all about the office  . . .  [and] wanted the names of the people doing the work.” The career staffer running the transition politely declined to give Klippenstein the names.
