Materials Removed from HHS Website

In late 2017, various content was removed from the website of the Office of Women’s Health (OWH), within the Department of Health and Human Services. For example:

  • The “Breast Cancer” page, which included fact sheets about the disease and information on how to access free or low-cost screening programs, was removed from OWH’s website between June and December 2017.
  • The “Lesbian and Bisexual Health” page, which provided information about the health risks faced by lesbian and bisexual women and the challenges they face in obtaining health care, was removed from OWH’s website between September and October 2017.

Links to the above pages, and various other content, have also been removed from the “A-Z Health Topics” page on the OWH website.
