FDA Food Advisory Committee Disbanded

In December 2017, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, disbanded its food advisory committee. The committee had operated for twenty-five years and was the FDA’s only advisory body dedicated to food-related science policy.
