EPA Scientists’ Research Subject to Review Before Publication

On January 25, 2017, Doug Erickson, the head of communications for the Trump transition team for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), told reporters that agency scientists would likely be required to have their research reviewed on a “case by case” basis before it is published. According to Erickson, the transition team will “take a look at what’s happening so that the voice coming from the EPA is one that’s going to reflect the new administration.”
