Climate Science Misrepresented by Kentucky Mayor

In an interview with The Progressive in early 2017, Todd Pollock, the mayor of Bedford in Kentucky, said that he does not believe the science of climate change “is settled.” Mayor Pollock asserted:

“There is a change, but is it manmade or is it just the natural evolution of things? That I don’t think is quite determined.”

This statement contradicts decades of scientific research, which shows that anthropogenic greenhouse gases emissions are the primary driver of climate change.
