Trump Calls for Expedited Approval of Keystone and Dakota Access Pipelines

President Trump issued two presidential memoranda instructing the Secretary of the Army to “take all actions necessary and appropriate” to expedite the approval of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipelines:

• Presidential Memorandum Regarding Construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline
• Presidential Memorandum Regarding Construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline

On the same day, Trump also signed a related Executive Order Expediting Environmental Reviews and Approvals For High Priority Infrastructure Projects.
