EPA Proposes Revisions to Methane NSPS for Oil and Gas Sector

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published proposed revisions to its New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for controlling methane and other emissions from the oil and natural gas sector. EPA is proposing significant changes to the leak detection and repair requirements for oil and gas sources, which will increase gas losses and corresponding methane emissions.
