President Trump issued an Executive Order on Promoting Energy Infrastructure and Economic Growth which is aimed at expediting the approval of energy infrastructure, including but not limited to oil and gas pipelines

President Trump has announced his intention to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement – the global compact which implements the objectives of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

President Trump released a proposed budget for FY 2018 which includes significant cuts to climate change and clean energy programs.

The Trump Administration issued a Presidential Memorandum entitled “Regulatory Freeze Pending Review” which directs all agencies to postpone the publication of new and pending regulations to give the administration time to review those regulations. The freeze affects the latest renewable fuel standards from EPA as well as energy efficiency standards recently finalized by DOE.
