About three months into my post college marketing career I was driving home, crying, for the third time that week. My long commute gave me plenty of time to contemplate life and on my third crying session I finally came to the realization that this career path was not for me.

There’s no doubt education is a vitally important part of fighting against climate change for several key reasons. Climate change is one of the biggest issues facing young people, and education can equip them with the skills to help. It also encourages young people to get involved as global citizens and make contributions.

When we think of a natural ecosystem, our minds immediately wander to tall prospering trees, clean flowing water and the plentiful flora and fauna that makes each of these ecosystems unique. But that’s not all there is to it.
