At the 7th Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) Global KTransparency_EITIsideEvent_29Jan2016Conference in Lima, Peru, CCSI co-organized two side events. The first event, on Tuesday, February 23rdData to Development, in partnership with IBIS, the African Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Open Oil, raised awareness on the spate of publicly available fiscal models for extractive industries and on the importance of fiscal modeling for different uses and stakeholders.

The second event, on Wednesday, February 24thContracts and Cocktails, co-organized with the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI), Open Contracting Partnership (OCP) and the World Bank, in partnership with Oxfam AmericaGlobal Witness, Open Oil and ICMM, was an informal, collaborative sharing and learning event, primarily for government decision makers, focusing on the challenges and opportunities of oil and mining contract disclosure.
